This policy explains how the Perpetual Motion in Finance website handles personal data and usage data related to the free book downloads, purchase of the companion spreadsheet and access recovery.

Data we collect

To operate the website, we record basic events without cookies, such as page views, page language, download clicks, purchase clicks and checkout creation. These events do not include name, email or persistent identifiers set by the website.

After the free download, you may optionally provide your email to receive notices about corrections, new versions and companion materials. This subscription is not required to download the book.

When you purchase the spreadsheet or request access recovery, we process the email provided at checkout to confirm the purchase, generate the spreadsheet password, send the redemption link and allow later access recovery.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. The website does not store card data. We may receive from Stripe the information needed to confirm the purchase, such as buyer email, currency, amount paid, checkout session identifier and payment status.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics is loaded only after your consent in the cookie banner. If you reject it, Google Analytics will not be activated by this website. You can change your choice by clearing local browser data for this domain.

Purposes

We use the data to provide the PDFs, send updates when requested, process purchases, deliver and protect the spreadsheet, recover access, prevent abuse, maintain operational records and understand aggregate site usage.

Retention

Purchase and access records may be kept for as long as needed to prove the transaction, recover access and comply with legal obligations. Basic navigation events are used for operational statistics and may be removed or aggregated periodically.
